These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the AstroChetna mobile application and the website astrochetna.com (together, the "Platform"). By creating an account or using the Platform you accept these Terms. Please also read our Privacy Policy and AI Safety Terms, which form part of these Terms.

1. The service

AstroChetna computes your Vedic birth chart (kundli) from the birth details you provide and lets you chat with Chetna, an AI astrologer that interprets that chart. The Platform also offers daily horoscopes and kundali matching. All readings are generated for informational, spiritual and entertainment purposes only — they are not professional advice of any kind.

2. Eligibility and accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform.
• Accounts are created with your mobile number and verified by OTP. You are responsible for keeping access to your number secure and for all activity under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate birth details; readings are only as accurate as the information you give.

3. Subscriptions and payments

• A limited free allowance lets you try the chat. Continued use requires a subscription: a 1-day trial for ₹1, after which a UPI Autopay mandate of ₹199 per month begins, charged monthly until cancelled.
• Payments are processed by Razorpay. Prices include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
• You can cancel the mandate at any time in your UPI app; access continues until the end of the paid period. Amounts already charged are non-refundable except where required by law or granted at our discretion for duplicate or erroneous charges — write to support@astrochetna.com.
• Daily question limits apply per plan and reset at midnight IST.

4. Acceptable use

• Do not use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.
• Do not attempt to abuse, reverse engineer, scrape, overload or disrupt the Platform or its AI systems.
• Do not submit content that is abusive, obscene, sexually explicit, hateful, or that infringes any third party's rights. Attempts to steer the AI into such content are prohibited and may result in suspension or termination.

5. AI-generated content

Responses are generated by artificial intelligence interpreting your chart. They are probabilistic, may be incomplete or incorrect, and do not predict actual outcomes. You are solely responsible for decisions you make. See the AI Safety Terms for important limits on relying on readings.

6. Intellectual property

The Platform, its design, software and content (excluding your personal data) are owned by AstroChetna or its licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App for your own use. You retain rights to the information you submit and grant us the licence needed to operate the service.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Astrological readings are matters of belief and interpretation; we make no promises about their accuracy or outcomes. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Platform is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Platform and delete your account at any time (see the Delete Account FAQ). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at [city], India shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections available to you.
